Why is this so important to us?

We refuse to accept a future where this type of aggression goes unchecked. Some of us have personal connections to Ukraine, others are doing this because we simply care. What is happening in Ukraine is a world event, and we want to do what we can.

This attack has also raised online security concerns. Russia has significant cyber capabilities dating back to at least 1996 with the Moonlight Maze data breach. Favorite tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) include network attacks, false flags, and psychological operations.

They rely on a vast pool of highly skilled technical experts displaced by limited economic mobility. These advanced persistent threat (APT) groups are closely aligned with the Kremlin’s objectives and worldview but not officially sanctioned by Russia. This separation limits exposure to the nation state while inflicting maximum damage on victims.

Ukraine and neighboring countries served as proving grounds for Russia’s cyber forces, providing opportunities for them to refine their cyber techniques while demonstrating their capabilities on the world stage to influence or deter adversaries.

Governments and companies around the world should continue to harden their networks and digital assets as a new dawn of cyberwarfare is inevitable. For those impacted directly by this invasion and able to take advantage of these offerings, we are providing digital technology services for free.

Simple DDoS attacks and DNS hijackings that typified Russian cyber operations in Estonia and Georgia have since been overshadowed by more sophisticated tactics and malware tools most recently targeting Ukraine.

Call for vendors

Join Our Coalition

We want to get other security and software vendors involved. If your company is interested in sharing your product for free with Ukrainian businesses and individuals and would like to use this space to promote your services, please click here to join now.

We have one requirement: You must provide proof that you have made a donation in support of Ukraine. All companies listed on this page are not just providing their services for free, but they are taking monetary action to help Ukrainian citizens. We ask this because we realize that there might not be many Ukrainian companies that take advantage of this, and we want to ensure that we are facilitating help in some form.

If you are only able to make a cash donation, we would still like to list you with the amazing vendors who have already made contributions.

Members of our Coalition
